I left the 79th and the Canal Zone in October of 1967.  Three years later, I was married and over the next six years was graced with my three children, Gloria, Andrea and Michael.  After spending some years in the family business, I became the principal shareholder and over the next decade built it into a good size company with offices in New Jersey and Rhode Island.  After going through a challenging divorce in 1986, I found myself at a crossroads and entered Alcoholics Anonymous.  I have, with God's grace, conquered my long time chemical dependency.

In 1991, I married the love of my life, Patti.  A variety of factors led to the sale of my business and finding myself too young to retire, I undertook a career change in my late 40's and entered the insurance industry.  Over the course of the next ten years, I became a top producing agent and was promoted to Sales Manager.  I retired to South Florida in 2001.  Today, I work three days a week at a no stress retirement job that fulfills my needs at this point in my life.  Most days you can find me in the gym,  trying to stay in shape.  I love spending time with my adoring wife and our little dog, Quimby.  My wife and I enjoy walking, movies, books and visiting our six grandchildren spread across the country.  Most importantly,  I have accumulated 21 years of sobriety in AA.  I spend many hours donating my time to those who suffer as I did and try and bring a message of recovery to new people in AA.  Life for me is wonderful these days and I look forward with great anticipation to our reunion and spending time with old friends.
